“Green'” smoothie
4-5 frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen berries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 T honey
protein powder (optional – sometimes we do it sometimes we don’t)
vanilla (I use a pump of sugar free vanilla syrup because my vanilla is the real loaded (vodka) kind!)
big ol’ handful of fresh spinach
and milk, juice or water to mix to your desired consistency.
Neil and I have been having these for breakfast every morning for the past week. I LOVE them. I seriously crave them. My kids love them too. And they are super good for you so I just keep making them. When else would they eat a full serving of fruit and veggies with no sugar or dressing to disguise it?
